One of the most common questions i get during interviews from CEOs, and CCOs is: what kind of work do you like to do or want to do?
Normally i answer, “simple yet beautiful ideas, big ideas, integrated media-agnostic work, etc.” While that still remains true, after doing my annual Cannes/Clios/D&AD review, i’m pretty sure i’ve nailed down the ideas and type of work i want to do. I’m dubbing myself an “Innovation Creative“.
Innovation is more than just using new technology. It’s about changing the way we think and approach various issues whether it’s brand, business, or geopolitical. Innovation Creative is about using the power of creativity together with technology in unique and different ways. The idea is still the most important part, but the use of technology can empower this idea and help it come to life in new and interesting ways. Brands and agencies are already doing this, and doing it well. Below are my picks for some of the best ideas in Innovation Creative. This is the kind of work i want to do and hopefully an agency somewhere agrees. I’m sure i’ve missed some, but here’s my list of innovative creative work. Thanks to LoveTheWorkMore.com
